THE OLD GRAY STONE “Trinity Episcopal Church” GROWS OLD WITH ME by Mr. Charles Arthur Soule.

Published in 2015 by Mr. Charles Arthur Soule’

The old gray stone church grows old with me in darkness recess it will lay.

It’s cross-crowned, steeple pointed with morning first faint rays of Sun.

A shimmering golden glow anointed so with shadows throwing on afar on a non-cloudy day.

Then, bursting through clouds the Sun appears and, with steeple seemed reminiscent of light unstained, unblemished, without a flaw for all to see.

And should you gaze at the sight to see; do not forget that this old gray stone Trinity Episcopal Church grows old with me.

It seems it smiles with me in mind for all to see.   And,  glorious, wonderful smile indeed to see.

And, If your heart is sore within.

Compassion and hope are all written within this old gray church that goes old with me.

Editor´s Note:

The Church is the Trinity Episcopal Church, which was closed on Christmas Day 2018.
